Jorik “Joey” de Haas is a queer illustrator & writer based in the Hudson Valley region of New York. He received a BFA in Illustration with a Minor in English Writing from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2020. Jorik specializes in narrative illustration, character design, and worldbuilding. His personal work is greatly affected by his love for angelology and ornithology.Apart from visual art, he is also a well-rounded writer in both the creative and academic sense. He has a strong passion for telling stories through an illustrative medium.
